(What is the point of the online booking system then? Why don’t you go private then?) Furthermore, LJ was very misleading the first 2 times that I came to get my haircut by setting false expectations with me that he will be setting me up with “series” appointments to get weekly haircuts, after 2 visits, which was a complete lie. (Why did you tell me you will set me up with series then? You could have just told me to continue booking online.) The last and third time that I came to get a cut from LJ, his attitude completely changed as he gave me the cold shoulder from the beginning of the cut. I don’t know whether this had to do with the argument that happened while I was there between 2 of his barber colleagues regarding regular client bookings which is also what he referred back to by saying “just like him, I also have to accommodate my regulars, and you are not a priority client” when I was trying to book another appointment for the following week. This actually caught me by total surprise because I told him my issue that I just moved to town and needed a consistent barber and he told me that it’s “no problem” the first 2 times. I came to Shear Brilliance as I was referred to go there by family that know the owners, however, after the experience that LJ put me through, I will not be going to Shear Brilliance anymore- I will also post this negative experience on Google in hopes that nobody goes through this with any barber. Now Shear Brilliance has lost a regular, weekly client due to LJ being misleading, disrespectful and unreliable as a barber due to making false statements. The shop is very clean and the barbers are friendly. I had an appointment with Abdal and safe to say he is my new barber, he understood exactly what I wanted and his skills are amazing 👍🏼
